Well, anyway, back to website business. Since it’s the new year, I’m planning on making a new layout (if I have time though) and possibly REVAMP the site. Yes, yes, yes. I keep promising to make a new layout but I never fulfill it. This time, I’ll try to do it.

Oh, and another thing, I had problems with my e-mail and stuff in the past months so I couldn’t reply to all your messages. It’s back and working now but you will need to send me your e-mails again. Also yesterday (or shall I say two days ago) my grandmother treated the whole family to dinner in honor to celebrate my cousin’s Sweet Sixteen (which is technically today since it’s past 12 am). After an early dinner we headed to Starbucks and after that, we went around the mall. My cousin even got a new pair of Ecko Red shoes (I’m SOOOOO JEALOUS!!!!) for her birthday.

I’ve been pretty preoccupied lately ever since my dad bought me a new graphic tablet and new books. Yeah, that’s what kept me busy the past couple of days.

Anyway, Halloween is coming up! On Saturday, my family and I are planning to have a little dinner just at my house with my grandma and my cousin. Hopefully, everyone will be in the mood to wear a costume or something.

But ohhhh…. before I forget, I would just like to announce that Shadow (the mother cat) passed away a few days ago along with one of her kittens, Charcoal. I think they got sick from the floods or something. Now, Shadow only two kittens left and they are now motherless.

Just last September 26 (my mom’s birthday), there was a storm that came here and it caused MASSIVE floods in my area. Our first floor was literally under water. Until now, we are still recovering. But don’t worry, everything’s fine. Truth is, the floods kinda made us realize how materialistic we are. Thanks to the floods, we got to get rid of lots of unimportant stuff that’s taking up so much space.

Sitewise, as you may see, I haven’t added anything new yet. Yeah, I apologize for that once again. I haven’t had the time to do anything online. Until now, we still don’t have a proper internet connection. Hope you understand.

Anyway, wow. I can’t believe it’s September already! Time flies so fast! In just a few months it’s gonna be Christmas (my fave holiday ever) already! I actually find it pretty strange that they already play a bunch of Christmas music in malls. It’s as if it was only December 2008 a few months ago.

Okay, now I shall talk about what has happened in my life lately. Sometime two weeks ago, my cat, Shadow gave birth to four wonderful kittens! They’re still really small now so she doesn’t let them out yet but I can’t wait when they do. =^-^= Also, around two weeks ago, my family and I watched Disney Pixar’s “Up”. I know, I know. It sucks they only showed it now! I’ve been dying to watch it for months but hey, I guess it was pretty worth the wait. It’s a REALLY good movie and you should watch it if you haven’t! Anyway, here’s another thing that has happened in my life lately. Just around last Sunday, my family and I got to watch this family musical about Noah’s Ark (tickets courtesy of my aunt). It was pretty good but I admit, I’ve seen better musicals.

Another thing I would like to apologize for is the answering of e-mails. I have replied to MOST e-mails already though. If there’s anything or anyone to blame, it’s my internet. So, I do hope you understand.

I simply don’t update because I’ve been busy working on an upcoming website. Okay, for those who are curious about what happened during my little Paintball fun last Saturday, well, here’s what happened. A couple of minutes after arriving at the venue, we headed to the Paintball area to be given a brief preview on safety and how to make our paintball markers (aka guns) work. After that, my 12-year old brother and four of his friends (including one of my female cousins) teamed up together while four of my brother’s female friends and classmates (including my sister) teamed up with me and my other brother. So, well, we expected the battle to be longer but it actually ended in just 10 minutes with the opposing team (my 12-year old brother’s team) capturing my team’s flag and winning. Well, the main reason my team lost was that our best player got too excited and wasted all his bullets (We were only given 50 bullets. That may seem a lot but when you’re there, trust me, it isn’t.) in just a few minutes after the game started. But oh well, it was a great experience. But oh, I did get hit on my right arm (but the ball didn’t “splat”) and it really hurt!

Also, two days ago, my dad, mom, and I watched this very touching movie called “Gran Torino” (directed, produced, and starring Clint Eastwood). It’s a pretty good movie and I guess I’d recommend anyone to watch it.

Oh, another thing. I accidentally did something with my Inbox and it’s pretty messed up so it’s hard to read my e-mails. But don’t worry, I will still get your message so feel free to send in some more applications or just messages.

Nothing new on the site today since I haven’t had any time to do anything for the site. But here are some questions for you to answer anyway.

Okay, correction on the title, it’s been ONE YEAR and ONE DAY since I went to my first concert. Time flies SO FAST! And based on the picture of the poster I posted, it’s obvious that it was a Simple Plan one! Well yeah, it was a Simple Plan one but it was also a Jamie Scott and the Town and New Found Glory one (but I’m not a fan of either- only Simple Plan!).

I actually don’t wanna go into details anymore on what happened during that wonderful beloved day. All I have to say is if I could just bring back August 4,2008, I definitely would love to- no question about it! Yes, first concerts are very memorable- I’ve heard many people say this and I definitely agree to it. There’s just something about that moment when you see your favorite band/singer step onto the stage for the first time in your life. It’s an incredible feeling. But what’s more incredible is when the band starts playing and music fills the air.

Okay, well that’s it! lol… I’m sorry. I’m just not in the mood to blog. Heck, I know this is gonna sound ridiculous but I was lazy to go online awhile ago (so I watched “Cheaper by the Dozen 2″ with my siblings). Yep. I was planning to add something today but I was just too lazy. Don’t worry, once I un-lazify myself, you’ll get to see new stuff. Promise!

The day started out pretty bad but eventually turned out to be a great one. At around 1:30 pm, my family and I left the house to bring my mom and I to the Doctor. Yes, I know I haven’t been blogging about it but I’ve had some cough and colds for the past 3 weeks just like my mom. This trip to the doctor’s was kinda “special” or rather, “different” since I haven’t been to the doctor in years. Also, this was my first time to go to an alternative doctor. Anyway, from the doctor, I found out that I sorta have “pneumonia” just like my mom which is why I have to take some antibiotics. Yeah… being sick sucks…

So after the trip to the doctor’s, my dad picked my mom and I up and we went to the mall along with my siblings and we bought some Star Wars stuff (fan confession…lol). Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that August 1^st was my brother’s 12^th birthday so my parents allowed him to buy loads of Star Wars stuff! Afterwards, we also decided to buy some DVDs so we got “Cheaper By the Dozen” (haven’t watched this in ages!) and “Cheaper by the Dozen 2″ (Buy one, Take one promo baby!). Also, I decided to buy some books in one of the bookstores there. And then, my parents brought us home while they left to go bond and drink some wine with my uncles and aunts while we kids watched “Cheaper by the Dozen” at home. Okay, that’s it. And yes, I didn’t use the computer for a whole day! This whole day made me realize how much I miss the “good ol’ days” of my offline life.

Oh, and I’ll get back to the comments and e-mails when I have time! I’ve just been off the computer enjoying my offline life or I’ve just been too lazy or busy with orders (I get like LOADS of glitter requests- around 3 or more a day).

“Mulan”, “Hercules”, “Toy Story 1 and 2″, “Home Alone 3″, “Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace”, and other memorable movies I watched when I was little.

2.) What are some memorable happenings from the 90s you recall to this day?
Going to the States for sure is one of the most memorable things that happened in my life. I also remember watching “Star Wars Episode 1″ and becoming a Star Wars fan for the first the year 1999. And oh, as for little happenings, I remember getting up everyday to watch those Hannah Barbera (or however you spell it) and other old cartoons in Cartoon Network (it was the only kids channel we had in our cable then) with my brother. Good times, good times.

3.) Did you ever have bangs or another weird hairstyle during the 90s?
Yep. =P Bangs for sure. And I had this ugly little “apple cut” (as my parents call it) hairstyle.

4.) Any 90s craze (music, toys, clothes, movies, cartoons, etc) that you used to like when you were younger?
TOYS: Furby, Tamagotchi (though I never had one), Polly Pocket, Barbie dolls, Star Wars action figures (total tomboy confession…lol), Lisa Frank stationary, and many more.
CLOTHES: Spice Girl shoes definitely! That’s it, I guess.
MUSIC: I wasn’t really into music then but I sorta did like that “I’m a Barbie Girl” song by some singer I forgot and I also liked some Britney Spears and Spice Girls songs. Oh, but I was really little then so I did enjoy listening to those Disney Classic songs (which I still love to this day) like “Reflection” from Mulan and “Go the Distance” from Hercules. And I always thought Boy Bands sucked. To this day, I still do.

Lately, I’ve been VERY lazy. Yep, that’s the sad truth. I have many stuff to do and I also have this site to update but I don’t really accomplish anything since lately, I’ve been spending my time in front of the computer watching random videos/trailers and browsing sites just for fun. Anyway, you might be wondering why my blog title says “The Good Ol’ 90s”. Well, two days ago, for some reason my younger brother (who was born in the late 90s) was asking me stuff about the “Home Alone” series. I started to tell him the story of “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” (which I watched through our laser disc) and “Home Alone 3″ (which I watched in cinemas back in ‘97) to satisfy his curiosity though to this day I haven’t watched the 1^st one yet and my brother already watched the fourth (I didn’t really like it). Anyway, that night, I decided to search for the trailer for all three “Home Alone” movies in Youtube so I could show him. So when I was searching for the “Home Alone 3″ trailer, I came across this video with the song from “Home Alone 3″ (it’s called “My Town” by Cartoon Boyfriend) on it. As I listened to it, I remembered back in 1997 (wow… I feel old), I used to sing the song a lot because I loved it so much! I was really little then but I really enjoyed both the song and the movie. After my little “flashback”, I began searching for 90s stuff online for some reason. I guess I just missed the era (though don’t get me wrong, I love the 2000s!) a little and I just wanted to recall some younger childhood memories. Also, I watched two movies yesterday that had to do with the 90s. The first movie was “Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace” (though I’ve seen in hundreds of times) which was shown in the year 1999 and the next movie was “Freedom Writers” which was shown in 2007 but the setting was the 90s.

So, now I decided that my blogs should be interactive from now on. Here are some questions I want to ask you dear site visitors since I assume most of you were already alive during the 90s:

Okay, I won’t spoil you anymore but I do recommend reading the book. If you’re not the type who likes reading, there’s a movie about it that was released in 2007 and it’s called “The Freedom Writers” but I haven’t watched it yet though. Anyway, time to talk about my personal life. Two nights there was a huge blackout in my area from 11pm-5am. Gosh, it was horrible! It was so HOT my cousin and I couldn’t sleep! I eventually did but I kept waking up every couple of hours only to find myself really sweaty. But I’m glad it’s over.

Also, awhile ago, we went to church and the Worship team there did a really cool number. They performed Michael Jackson’s song, “Billie Jean” but they changed the lyrics to “Be in Jeans”. lol It was awesome. After church, we ran into my parents’ friend who was a retired basketball player (he’s around 6′4″. really tall!) and they talked a little and then we took out some Chinese food and we ate at home. Okay, that’s it.
