There was a young girl who dreamed of being a princess and traveling to faraway lands. As years passed, she realized this dream of hers would never happen so she gave up on it. But since this little girl was quite the dreamer, her interests became diverse and she soon dreamed of having a little corner on the web that she could call her own.
It was on December of 2005 that this young girl realized her dream would be possible to achieve when she discovered a website offering free hosting for kids. Since that day, she started gaining knowledge on the basic principles of web design by exploring the web and improving her abilities over the years. Eventually, she realized it was time to get her website hosted and in just a short time, she found a host. After continuous unfortunate events that occurred while being hosted, she decided to quit web designing. It was only in October of 2008 that the girl decided to open another site. She realized her love for web designing wasn't completely lost yet. As months passed, she longed for a domain name. When time permitted her, she would go online and search for free domain hosting contests and promos. Through prayer and searching, she eventually found the perfect host that would be able grant her a domain name but she had to apply to be a hostee first. On April 18, 2009, the young woman who was running the hosting site saw potential in the girl and decided to accept her as a hostee despite the rejection of the young girl's first application. And the rest is history...
The young girl may have not gotten her wish of being a princess but she is now happy that she found her love for web designing. After all, who needs to be a fairytale princess when you can still be a princess by ruling your own kingdom that is your website?
