1. I've got a free easy sign-up host already so why do I need to be hosted by another site?
First of all, there's nothing wrong with being hosted by a free easy sign-up host. In fact, we all usually start from there believe it or not. But the thing is, if you're hosted, it's a whole different thing.
2. What's the difference between working in a free easy sign-up host than in a subdomain host?
Most free easy sign-up hosts don't provide FTP, PHP, and other script installations that may come in handy if you want your site to look more professional.
3. What do you learn when you become hosted?
Getting hosted is a good way to prepare you if you're planning to have your own domain in the future. In fact before opening this site, I got hosted a couple of times already. And I truly am thankful that I got hosted first before getting a domain because it really prepared me on what I will encounter upon getting a domain name. Being hosted first taught me how to host other sites, how to use FTP, how to install scripts, and many more. So I strongly recommend getting hosted first so that when the time comes that you get a domain site, you can start it off with a bang.
4. When should I get hosted?
I suggest you learn the basics of web design first (HTML, CSS, Javascripts, etc) before moving on to get hosted. But there is no specific time on when you should get hosted though. I personally started getting hosted around April or May of 2007 but I've been web designing (self-taught) since around December 27,2005 (estimated).
